We transfer up to 70 minutes of audio to a CD. There are many factors that cause the amount of recorded minutes on your audio reel-to-reel tape to vary widely. First, there are different sizes of reels. Second, the reels may have been recorded on one or both sides. Lastly, there are different speeds your tape could have been recorded at. There is also the matter of knowing if all the tape was recorded on or not.
If you are concerned about not knowing how much your order will cost up front, please feel free to give us a dollar limit and if we reach such limit, we will call you to let you know we have reached the limit but did not transfer all of your tape(s). It's up to you then to have the rest transferred or not.
Please note that there are some less commonly used recorded speeds that we can't accommodate. There is no charge to you if this is the case.
- WILL MY AUDIO CASSETTE FIT ONTO ONE CD?
We transfer up to 70 minutes of audio to a CD. The capacity of your audio cassette is mostly commonly 60 or 90 minutes. However, there are 30, 45 and 120 minute cassettes as well. Obviously, you need to know how much of your tape was recorded on if you want to know if your 90 minute or 120 minute cassette will fit on one CD. Please be aware that a 90 minute or 120 minute cassette will require two CDs if the tapes are fully recorded on.

We have special software that we run over our captured audio files for LP, 45 & 78 transfers that greatly minimizes hissing or popping noise.
Our standard pricing option results in delivering to you a "track" for each side of your record. Should you desire to have an individual track for each song, please request individual tracks for the charge shown in the "Pricing" section.
- WHAT IS DELUXE PACKAGING AS COMPARED TO STANDARD PACKAGING?
Standard packaging includes the CD with no label or titling on the outside of the disc. The top of your disc will be a blank shiny silver surface. Your disc will come in a full-size DVD case.
Deluxe packaging includes your title on the outside of the disc as well as appearing on the DVD case cover insert on the face and on the spine of the DVD case. In addition, the case cover insert can be removed and there are lines on the back for making any notes you would like to record.
